Originally built in 1927, the hotel was the vision of the influential architect Baron Haussmann, who was commissioned to reshape Paris’ streets and architecture.

ChandlerKBS was commissioned to undertake the cost and project management and site supervision of this Euro 19 million refurbishment of the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador hotel.

All public areas of the hotel were renovated, including meeting rooms, fitness room, lobby, bar, restaurant and all seven floors of 294 guestrooms. Offices and the former fitness room were converted into new meeting rooms and an executive lounge.
