Hiring Process

Cumming Group has an in-house talent acquisition team that helps match qualified candidates with open positions across the organization. We seek to make the hiring process as transparent as possible and we work hard to keep the lines of communication open every step of the way.

Philosophy

We fully understand the excitement (and stress) of pursuing new career opportunities. Our goal is to make the process as straight forward as possible and to fully meet our candidates’ expectations.

Our recruiting philosophy includes:

  • Delivering a transparent and efficient process

  • Maintaining clear and open communication

  • Treating applicants with respect

The Process

So, what can you expect when applying for a position with Cumming Group?

Once you apply, you will receive an email confirming we have received your resume. A talent acquisition team member is assigned to each position and will communicate with you directly. Our goal is to communicate next steps within five business days of receiving your resume.

If we feel your qualifications are not a good fit for the role, we will let you know. In these instances, we will be sure to keep a copy of your resume in our database should a more suitable position become available in the future.

If we do feel you would be a good match for the role, we will send an email requesting a phone interview within the week. The phone interview is generally conducted by the assigned talent acquisition team member and lasts approximately 30 to 60 minutes. We will let you know at the end of the call if we will be sharing your resume with the position’s hiring manager, or if we do not think it is the right fit at that time.

It is our goal to move as quickly as possible through the interview process and to keep you informed of your status as a candidate along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have included the following FAQS to help address some of the questions you may have. Thank you for your time and best of luck with your search!

After a resume submission, your information is automatically stored in our applicant tracking system (ATS). iCIMS is our ATS vendor. They have great candidate-focused information on their site here.

You are welcome to do that. When you submit your resume directly to us via email, it is not automatically loaded into our system and, therefore, will not be searchable or visible when we view resumes in our applicant tracking system. So, while it’s perfectly fine to submit your resume to us directly, it is more effective to follow the standard procedure of applying through our website.

We encourage you to view and apply to one of our talent pools here or apply for general consideration here. Additionally, you can sign up for an RSS feed to be notified whenever a new position becomes available, or you can simply visit our website on a regular basis. We add and edit positions weekly.

Resumes are stored indefinitely. When a new position is posted, we first look at candidates already in the system. However, if you have interest in a new position and have already applied previously for a separate position, then it’s as easy as clicking a button.
