Cumming, an international construction consultancy, announced that it has hired seasoned industry leader, Jeff Birenbaum to help grow the firm’s presence and capabilities throughout the Greater Boston-area. With the international firm’s revenue growing by 45 percent over the past three years, Cumming will leverage Birenbaum’s leadership and extensive project management experience to help drive the firm’s new focus on expanding its footprint throughout New England.

Birenbaum joins Cumming’s East Coast team as a Managing Director and will focus on commercial assignments out of the Boston office. With decades of project management experience and operational knowledge, he is a well-respected decision maker that has successfully managed a wide range of project types from the completion of small one-off renovation assignments to some of the industry’s most complex multi-million dollar ground up developments.

Recent Cumming assignments in the region include work on The Westin Boston Waterfront, Hilton Boston Downtown at Faneuil Hall, Langham Boston, and at several FatFace retail stores, among many others.
