Cumming, a San Diego-based project management and cost consulting firm, announced Tuesday that it has expanded its operations by opening a new office in New Jersey.
Cumming, according to a news release, hired Susan DiGiacomo and Richard Brown to serve as vice presidents in the Cranford-based office. There, they will drive the firm’s local project management growth initiative.
“Needing to leverage both international reach and intimate local expertise in today’s construction industry, we knew to continue to best serve our Tri-State clients it was necessary to build out our physical presence with a New Jersey office and dedicated team,” Finlay Cumming, founder and CEO of Cumming, said in a prepared statement.
DiGiacomo has more than 15 years of experience in the design and construction industry. She’s most recently served as an owner’s representative and project manager, leading public and private sector projects throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area.
Brown has more than 25 years of experience in program and project management. He also brings with him a wealth of knowledge in large public sector work in New Jersey. The most notable projects he’s led include the Office of Emergency Management facility in Newark, the Prudential Center and the Harrison waterfront redevelopment.
