BETHESDA, MD. – (Oct. 2, 2014) – Cumming, an international project management and cost consulting firm, announced today it has hired Bryan Roof as Project Director to support the firm’s expanding national project management organization. Based out of the Washington D.C.-area office, Roof will help manage nationwide healthcare, higher education and government project management assignments on behalf of Cumming.

Roof has more than 12 years of professional experience in construction and project management, ranging from focused fit-outs and renovations to large, multi-phased complex development projects. Roof has managed more than $300 million in projects for various industry sectors including healthcare, laboratories, education/institutional, hospitality, multi-family, historic renovations, and residential. Key assignments include providing program management for Virginia Theological Seminary’s new Immanuel Chapel and Welcome Center, structural repairs for The National Cathedral, hospital additions and renovations for INOVA Health System and Valley Health System, and a multi-phased development for Hilton Worldwide.

Before joining Cumming, Roof served as a Senior Project Manager for Advanced Project Management Inc., where his responsibilities included overseeing design, permitting, contracting, and close-out phases. Prior to Advanced Project Management, Roof served as Project Executive and Vice President of Construction for Dominion Construction, Inc. where he lead the general contracting teams and managed client relations.

They possess extensive experience on the East Coast, as well as across the U.S. and abroad.
