Our Washington, D.C. office is moving!

In our latest Cumming Insights Regional Report, we shared that the residential sector is the fastest-growing segment of the Washington, D.C. market. Well, Cumming has been growing quickly, too! Our local team of highly experienced construction professionals continues to provide top-rate project management, cost management, estimating, and scheduling services for our clients, and as a result we’ve now outgrown our current space — which is why we are thrilled to announce that our D.C. office is moving, effective December 1st. Our new office will be located at 4550 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 350N, Bethesda, MD 20814.

Since our D.C. team is larger than ever, we’d love to take this opportunity to re-introduce a few of them.

Zach De La Cruz is a Senior Cost Manager with experience providing full estimating support for both public and private clients. He has OST/Bluebeam takeoff experience and is familiar with all CSI Divisions, as well as subcontractor buyout and coordination. Since joining Cumming, Zach has been a valuable member of our team on such projects as the NPS Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center, the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and the Smithsonian Institution SAAM Gallery.

Ashley Gafar, Cost Manager, has over 14 years of experience working alongside owners, designers, and contractors. She has utilized her tremendous understanding of the work breakdown structure and the overall construction process to provide full-service estimating for more than 400 projects totaling over $10 billion in construction value. In addition, Ashley is proficient in performing independent bid reviews, peer reviews, reconciliation, and value engineering services at all stages of design.

Abiodun Adeniji is a Senior Cost Manager with a ‘can do’ attitude and years of experience managing project costs and schedules from inception to completion. Abi has expertise across the full spectrum of cost services — including quantity takeoffs, cost control, cost analysis, and value engineering — and he is able to develop accurate estimates while meeting tight deadlines. His portfolio includes an office complex at Georgetown University, the Urban Institute headquarters in D.C., a laboratory at Catholic University, and much more.

Michael Lewis is the Director of Business Development for our D.C. office. He is a decisive, action-oriented professional who knows our business inside and out. He works closely with our project teams to ensure client needs are met and results are delivered successfully, while simultaneously cultivating new and lasting relationships within the community. Michael is passionate about doing things the right way, with the best long-term outcomes in mind.

We will be in touch again as soon as we have settled into our new space. We value our partnerships with owners and clients and look forward to welcoming you to our new office in the near future.
