July 27, 2012–Earlier this week, Mike Jensen, John Heusner, Dan Luckhardt, and Greg Ratzlaff of Cumming were on hand at the American Society of Professional Estimators’ (ASPE) Annual San Diego Chapter #4 Awards & Installation Dinner Meeting to receive ASPE’s newly created Member Firm of the Year Award. Cumming, one of the largest independent estimating firms in the Western U.S., actively supports ASPE and was recognized for its significant contributions toward helping the organization advance its mission. “We are truly honored to have been recognized by ASPE”, stated John Heusner, Director of Cost Management in Cumming’s San Diego Headquarters. “ASPE has provided our staff with excellent training and meaningful insights into the latest advancements in cost estimating. Our relationship with ASPE has been mutually beneficial.”
Cumming has been an active supporter of ASPE since 1996. 25 of the company’s employees are members, and 15 hold ASPE’s Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation.
