Cumming placed at No. 38 nationally on this year’s list, with revenue of $57.8 million generated from project or construction management services, up 12.9 percent from $51.2 million in 2012.

Also making the national Top 100 were San Diego-based Gafcon Inc. at No. 62, with $24.2 million in project management revenue; and Kleinfelder at No. 63, with $24 million.

Cumming was first named to the magazine’s annual list in 2005 and has ranked in the top 40 every year since 2008, company officials said. It was the largest locally based firm for the third consecutive year.

The privately held Cumming was founded in 1996 and provides international project and cost management services for construction projects. Its recent clients include California State University San Marcos, Marriott International, Kaiser Permanente and Facebook Inc.
