LOS ANGELES – (August 27, 2014) – Cumming, an international project management and cost consulting firm, announced today that Director of Energy Christine Marez will be presenting on Green Technology’s Prop 39: The Current Scene panel in Pasadena, Calif. this week.

The interactive discussion will offer insights into the challenges faced by schools districts across the state, common needs, and the procurement process, among other vital topics related to making schools more energy efficient. Panelists will speak at 12pm PT on Thursday, August 28 at the Flintridge Center, Room 117, on a wide range of Prop 39 issues.

Leading energy benchmarking and technical energy assessments, as well as helping numerous California school districts navigate through the Proposition 39: California Clean Energy Jobs Act 2013 Program Implementation Guidelines, Marez will provide a unique perspective to the panel based on her extensive Prop 39 involvement. She will be joined by Bill McNamara, Director, Energy Programs from California Conservation Corps; Bharat Patel, PE, CEM, LEED AP, Senior Vice President, Principal, Discipline Leader Mechanical Engineering from Harley Ellis Devereaux and Debby Watson, Attorney from Public Interest Law Group, on the panel.

Green Technology is a non-profit initiative designed to guide government efforts toward sustainability, providing a forum in which government officials can communicate with those in the private sector who are developing and distributing green technologies.
