SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 30, 2012) – Cumming, an international project management and cost consulting firm, today announced the addition of Fergus O’Shea to its growing San Francisco team. Fergus joins Cumming as the Director of Project Management with responsibility for managing its portfolio of project management assignments in the Bay Area and throughout the Northwest.

Fergus is a skilled project manager and trained quantity surveyor with more than 12 years of industry experience. Clients have included Facebook, UC Berkeley, UC San Francisco, San Francisco General Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente, to name a few.

In addition to his strengths in project management and quantity surveying, Fergus brings a strong understanding of many of the latest trends in project delivery, including lean construction and integrated project delivery. Fergus holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland/Limerick institute of Technology Ireland, a Professional Diploma in Construction Management from Limerick Institute of Technology, and a National Diploma in Construction Economics from Cork Institute of Technology, also in Ireland.

Prior to Cumming, Fergus served as a Senior Project Manager with Cambridge CM, where he specialized in project management as well as cost planning and estimating for major private and institutional clients throughout San Francisco and neighboring communities
