Phase 2 of the Bonham Quay development in Galway City has recently reached Practical Completion. This outstanding urban regeneration project, driven by Edward Capital’s longterm vision to rejuvenate the docks, has resulted in a mixed-use scheme. It includes 375,000 sq.ft Grade A office space, 21,500 sq.ft of retail and restaurant space, as well as public and community areas, all with panoramic views of Galway Bay. The newly constructed Calatrava building, completed by Sisk and their subcontractors over a twenty four month period, is a remarkable addition to the campus and is now ready to welcome it’s new tenants. Sustainability and Wellness are key to the focus of the development with being one of the first buildings in Ireland to attain One Planet Living, as well as WiredScore Platinum, LEED Gold and WELL Gold accreditation. Cumming Group also carried out Contract Administration for the client as well as Project Management services.
