Cumming Group worked with the City of Tualatin as Project Manager/Owner’s Representative for the design and construction of a new public works building. The project, called the Tualatin Service Center Project, combined all of the City’s essential Community Development and Maintenance Services at one location.

The new project was sandwiched between buildings on an active site. At this space, there were several utility systems that had to remain active throughout construction. Cumming Group worked closely with everyone involved to mitigate any risk before both demolition and construction began.

The project included demolition of existing warehouse space, site improvements to optimize fleet parking, and building new office space for City staff and Courts. The 15,000-sq.-ft. project expanded the Operations Facility, allowing space for the relocation of Community Development, Engineering, and the Building Division from City Offices.
