The Eating Recovery Center (ERC) is a healthcare facility for eating disorder recovery that provides comprehensive treatment and services for a variety of eating disorders. The ERC recently completed the 10,165-sq.-ft. expansion and renovation of their existing building into a new adult treatment facility. The program included 24 inpatient beds and programmed space for treating 36 partial treatment patients for 12 hours a day, seven days a week. The commercial kitchen serves patients three meals and three snacks a day, and also serves the child/adolescent facility nearby. Work included selective demolition; structural and fireproofing upgrades; mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades; the installation of a commercial kitchen; the addition of an elevator and new enclosed stairway; and various tenant improvements.
