Cumming Group, in partnership with Black & Veatch and GL Industrial Services, was appointed by Thames Water and Ofwat to undertake an independent third-party expert review of the whole-life costs and benefits of mains replacement in London.
The scope of the review included:
Assessment of the process, performance, and benefits delivered relative to whole-life costs
Identification of lessons learnt to inform planning for more effective and efficient delivery
Evaluation of the incremental costs and benefits of different mains rehabilitation options to improve the supply-demand balance beyond maintaining base service levels
Our involvement provided an objective, expert perspective to support strategic decision-making and optimise the delivery of London’s mains replacement programme.
