New Central Search Security Building
Belfast International Airport is investing €115 million over the next five years to upgrade its facilities. The first phase of this development includes the construction of a new security building adjacent to the existing terminal, featuring state-of-the-art Standard 3 X-Ray screening technology. This advanced system eliminates the need for passengers to remove liquids from their bags, streamlining the security process.
This cutting-edge equipment will provide security staff with highly detailed three-dimensional images of passengers’ bags, enhancing both security measures and the overall passenger experience.
