Cumming Group were appointed to provide Project Management, Cost Management, Construction Supervision, and FF&E Procurement services for the distinguished hotel situated between Stockholm’s harbour and medieval city centre. Originally opened to coincide with the 1912 Olympics, this historic hotel retains its rich legacy, which continues to be a cornerstone of its identity today.

The comprehensive renovation project encompassed revitalising all facets of the hotel, including its 170 guest rooms and suites, meeting spaces, lobby, and restaurant and bars.

Throughout the project, our team focused on meticulous planning and execution to maintain the integrity of the hotel’s historic significance while meeting modern hospitality standards. This involved careful coordination with architects, contractors, and suppliers to deliver enhancements that enhance the guest experience while respecting the property’s storied past.
