Appointed in 2021 for Cedar Capital Partners’ acquisition of the Belfry Hotel, we conducted Technical Due Diligence and assessed capital allowances to refine the investment appraisal. The project involved refurbishing the existing hotel and expanding its facilities with a new ballroom, additional bedrooms, and enhanced leisure amenities. Our analysis included a detailed review of refurbishment costs and the financial implications of the planned expansion. By identifying potential tax reliefs and integrating capital allowances into the investment strategy, we helped optimise financial planning and support informed decision-making. This approach ensured alignment with our client’s financial objectives and long-term growth strategy for The Belfry Hotel.
