After years of working through city approvals and construction hurdles due to the building’s historical past, the Yotel San Francisco opened its doors to guests in early 2019. Cumming Group was contracted by Synapse Development Group to provide project and construction management services for the 203-key Yotel Hotel in Downtown San Francisco. Subsequently, Cumming Group’s energy group was brought in to help commission the beautifully renovated building, provide expert LEED guidance, and assist Yotel in achieving LEED Silver certification. One of the hotel’s many features is an advanced guestroom lighting control system that is integrated with the HVAC.
