How did you learn about our internship program?
I stumbled across Cumming’s internship program while looking into opportunities for construction cost management this past December. Being new to the industry, I knew one of my primary goals was to get exposure to as many projects and sectors as possible and moving to San Francisco to pursue this opportunity has proven to be the most rewarding experience. This opportunity has allowed me to be surrounded by professionals willing to lead and educate me through the entire process and to gain exposure to both pre-construction and post-contract aspects of multiple projects, ranging from market-rate residential complexes in the Bay Area to office space retrofits for Google! Following my graduation from Texas A&M University this upcoming December, I hope to move into the cost management industry full-time to continue focusing on estimating and pre-construction aspects of future projects in the Bay Area. My internship with Cumming has continued to challenge me in the best ways, and I am so thankful for all those who have poured into me this summer.
