Interns of Cumming Group
Each year, as we wrap up our summer internship program, we like to reflect on the program and celebrate the interns who have worked and learned alongside our teams throughout the summer.
It is important to us that we offer a meaningful internship program where participants can roll up their sleeves and get real-world experience building value for our clients. Whether our interns end up working at Cumming Group or somewhere else, we believe the whole industry benefits from building up the next generation of professionals.
Here, we’ve asked a few of our summer interns to share more about the experience in their own words.

Anthony Moore

What enticed you to apply for the internship program?
To be honest, I didn’t know much about construction consulting at the time, but Cumming Group popped up in a Handshake search, so I applied. I’m so glad I did – Project Management has ended up being a great fit for me!
What did you like most about interning with our team?
This internship was an excellent combination of education and work experience. I was assigned a project very early on, which allowed me to start gaining meaningful experience. However, throughout the internship, the DC team always prioritized my education, allowing me to collaborate on projects in many different aspects of the business. I always felt like the team gave me opportunities to learn and practice many different skills, all while being able to meaningfully contribute to the projects.
Any rewarding experience to share during our internship?
My primary project for the internship was with a Boston-based health system. As part of this project, I was able to take three business trips to Boston and participate in meetings with extremely experienced Project Managers!
