Cumming is pleased to welcome Mark Cho, Program Director, to our growing San Diego team.

Mark brings to Cumming more than 26 years of experience on complex building and infrastructure projects, along with a commitment to one of the key missions of our organization: delivering exceptional client service.

Mark’s distinguished career includes many significant accomplishments. He spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, where he began as an Assistant Resident in Charge of Construction at the Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan, and retired as the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA. Most recently, Mark served as Program Manager for San Diego Community College District’s $1.6 billion Propositions S & N program. Work included 80 projects across the Miramar, Mesa, and City College campuses, as well as at the District’s various continuing education campuses.

Through his work in the Navy, as well as his six years at San Diego Community College District, Mark has developed exceptional leadership and communication skills. As a key leader among Cumming’s San Diego-based Program and Project Management Team, Mark will help build upon our already successful operations to deliver a more robust suite of services to education, military, and public works clients throughout the region.

Mark holds an M.S. in Construction Management from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He is also an active member of the Society for American Military Engineers (SAME).
