Cumming Group has completed the renovation and expansion of a new 87,000-square-foot multi-purpose facility for the City of Northglenn in Colorado. The much-needed center became home to the City’s recreation and culture programs and services. Cumming’s local team provided project management services for the development that replaced a 44-year-old building – and nearly doubled the size of the community’s former facility.
The new state-of-the-art project was part of the larger Civic Center Master Plan and included a senior center, 335-seat theatre, a preschool, an indoor playroom with an outdoor tot lot, a large gymnasium, locker rooms, jogging track, weight room, group fitness studios, a six-lane competition swimming pool and separate warm-water leisure pool, private cabanas, catering kitchen, several multi-purpose and community rooms, a festival lawn, new Memorial Parkway, and Veteran’s Memorial Plaza.
Our team was pleased to complete the project under budget and ahead of schedule in 2021.
FCI Constructors was the construction manager and general contractor for the project with design by Barker Rinker Seacat and Semple Brown.
