I chose to join Cumming because they it was clear that the culture and office atmosphere was different from its competitors. I’d worked for other construction consultancies previously and was unimpressed with the way they operated and rested on their reputation to win work. Cumming has an entrepreneurial ethos and ‘seller-doer’ mindset where every member has the freedom and opportunity to go out and win work and improve themselves, outside of their specific roles. I initially joined a small operation in NYC that was trying to grow in the local and regional market and I wanted to be a part of that growth. What was a team of 6-10 of us in NYC is now over 150, within just a few years. I feel part of this success and part of the full Cumming team and brand.

After joining the firm I’ve never looked back and what I particularly like about Cumming is their hunger for success. Each office has a family atmosphere, which actually spreads across locations.
