Oval Real Estate has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of Albert Bridge House.
Cumming Group EMEA is acting as Cost Managers on behalf of Oval Real Estate to deliver a 45-storey Build to Rent tower and 365,000 sq ft of office space, with construction due to begin at the end of this year, subject to planning approval.
The Build to Rent scheme will provide 367 homes plus ground floor shops, cafés / restaurants in addition to amenity spaces for residents which include a gym, bouldering wall, rooftop gardens, cinema room and private dining facilities.
The 19 storey office building will be truly eye catching with a radical stepped design, with a cascade of accessible green terraces and rooftop spaces to create a unique façade and space.
Including more than 1.2acres of new public realm plus pedestrian routes and connections through site, the proposal has enhanced access to River Irwell.
The development aims to provide a scheme which supports Greater Manchester’s target to be net zero by 2023 by targeting a host of sustainability and wellness accreditations including BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Building Standard Platinum Enabled and Home Quality Mark.
