Cumming provided a statement of probable cost for this project, which involves the construction of a 31-acre sports complex and community park, the latter of which includes a skate park, splash pad, and veteran’s monument and plaza. The sports complex features three lighted softball/baseball fields, four lighted soccer/multi-purpose fields bordered by a perimeter walking trail, two concession and restroom buildings, bullpens, spectator seating, and a children’s play area with custom play structures. Additional amenities include exercise stations, an open turf play area, gazebos, benches, lighted basketball and tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, pickleball courts, and associated parking areas.
