The Encana Oil and Gas build-to-suit project included the development of a new 50,000-sq.-ft. office building. Project One Cumming assisted Encana in selecting a developer for the project, which was done through a competitive bidding process, and subsequently reviewing the option to hire a CM/GC. Additionally, Project One Cumming facilitated the site selection process, assuming primary responsibility for the overall administration of construction contracts; coordinated the developer, architect, and general contractor during the construction process; coordinated the issue resolution process to mitigate cost and deadline risks and ensure stakeholders were appropriately engaged; and provided regular progress updates.
