Cumming Group provided cost estimating services for the new Friend Family Health headquarters on Chicago’s south side. The project included acquiring an underutilized two-story brick building and rehabbing the façade, installing new mechanical systems and elevators, and creating an additional 8,000 sq. ft. of medical office space. A first-class healthy lifestyle center and medical clinic was also constructed, featuring space for local retail on the ground floor. The 45,000 sq. ft. medical clinic and corporate office space will help Friend Family serve its mission to provide primary health care services to vulnerable and medically underserved populations in the surrounding community.
