Cumming provided cost estimating services for renovations to the Plummer Auditorium at Fullerton Union High School. The project included seismic upgrades and ADA compliance modernizations for this two-story, 61,670-sq.-ft. facility, which was built in approximately 1930. More specifically, the scope consisted of using composite fiber-reinforced polymer to strengthen the existing concrete columns and shear walls, repairing areas of concrete deterioration, reinforcing the roof, installing wall anchors and equipment bracing, increasing the depth of building pilasters, providing a new ticket booth at the entrance, and adding wheelchair-accessible seating at the lower and upper levels.
