ChandlerKBS is providing cost and project management services for the renovation of the London Hilton on Park Lane. This exciting project will breathe new life into the iconic hotel while ensuring minimal disruption to guests, as the refurbishment is being carried out in phases while the hotel remains open. The renovation began with the guestrooms, starting from the top floor suites and working down. Floors 27 and 26 were completed in time for the King’s Coronation in May 23. Floors 25-18 were completed by September 23. These suites offer stunning panoramic views over London and Hyde Park and have been designed using natural materials and colour schemes that pay homage to the 1960s era, blending modern comfort with a nod to the hotel’s history.

The ground floor public areas have also undergone a comprehensive renovation. The lobby has been redesigned to create a welcoming and contemporary space, and a new lobby bar introduced. The lobby features striking artwork by Giles Miller, adding a unique visual element to the space. The ground floor restaurant has been transformed and relaunched with a fresh concept. The interiors showcase a combination of travertine and bronze materials, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. A green colour scheme will be incorporated, adding a touch of vibrancy and a connection to nature.

The renovation works continue with Floors 17-5 on site currently, together with meeting rooms and external works completing the full renovation by end of August 2024.
