Cumming Group is providing comprehensive project management, scheduling, and cost management services to NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for the development of the Flight Electronic Integration Facility Building (FEIF) in Pasadena, California. The Cumming Group team is overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout, and helping NASA JPL achieve LEED Gold certification.

The FEIF will support the next phase of NASA JPL’s Mars research and exploration, by allowing them to streamline fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of critical ground and flight-based hardware. It includes cutting-edge capabilities such as cleanrooms with environmental testing and research labs focused on intricate electrical component assembly. The facility will include collaborative workspaces to support advanced electronic fabrication and testing by multidisciplinary teams, in an effort to better understand the impacts of atmospheric conditions on different planets and their moons. Gensler is serving as the project architect.
