Cumming Group provided construction management support for the new O’Brien Middle School within the Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada. Services included budget management, change management, payment application review, schedule review and coordination of quality assurance measures. Together with TSK, the project architect, and CORE Construction, the CM-at-Risk, the new school was constructed adjacent to the existing school beginning in December of 2020 and was completed in August 2022 for students to begin the new school year in this state-of-the-art facility. Demolition of the old school and construction of play fields will be completed Spring of 2023.
