Oolite Arts, Miami, Florida

The new headquarters for Oolite Arts, one of Miami’s leading supporters of visual artists, will provide a “village-like space” for residency and programming, including cinematic arts programs, a lecture series, and more than 200 art classes. The building will be the first United States project designed by award-winning architects Barozzi Veiga of Barcelona. Slated to open in 2025, the building’s designs scheme is made of a long, low-rise and porous block with powering solar chimneys and skylights to be able to optimize control of the climate inside.
