Project Description

The Oregon City Public Works Department retained PlanB to provide owner representation services for a new operations complex development. The highly anticipated new public works center would house both the city’s Public Works Department and Parks Maintenance Division.

Throughout the design process, the PlanB team worked closely with the public, key stakeholders for several city departments that are housed in the building, and the city’s Fleet Maintenance. The project used the CM/GC delivery method.

The new 25,000-sq.-ft. facility includes offices, public reception areas, crew dispatch, muster areas, locker areas and amenities. The project also included the remodel of a portion of an existing 60,000-sq.-ft. warehouse building to support fleet maintenance and storage for valuable vehicles and equipment.
