ChandlerKBS was commissioned in 2015 on this prestigious project to carry out the Cost and Project Management and the FF&E Procurement.

The hotel is located in the historical centre of Rome (Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando, 3) and has remained as one of the most iconic palazzo type hotels since its opening in 1894. It is the pioneer of the St. Regis Brand in Europe and a gathering point for locals and international travellers.

The objective of the renovation was to maintain the position of the hotel at the 5-star Luxury level in Rome, upgrade the design and facilities standards to align the product to other contemporary St. Regis openings/renovations and fix the technical and structural aspects dating back to the last major renovation (1999). Additionally, the St Regis Brand identity had to be reinforced in order to enhance the hotel as a historical Italian hotel and a St Regis branded hotel, for which a joint decision by the Hotel Operator and the Client was made to appoint Pierre-Yves Rochon to provide the interior designs for the refurbishment.
