The upscale sushi concept Uchi was Austin-based Hai Hospitality’s first restaurant in Miami. Inspired by the hand-crafted tradition of Japan, the celebrated restaurant’s Miami outpost features handmade art sourced from local creatives and layered materials used throughout the 6,000 square-foot space. The design of Uchi Miami includes an art installation of a cinder block wall handwoven with locally sourced rope, and murals from Austin-based artist Jana and Joe Swec.
