Project Overview
Cumming Group supported Providence throughout its entire journey to replace the outdated hospital on the Tarzana campus, located on a bustling site near the freeway in the San Fernando Valley. The project included a new six-story patient wing, an expanded emergency department, a pediatric intensive care unit, a 600-car parking structure, new central plant, and state-of-the-art surgical facilities. Our team was involved from site master planning through design and construction, continuing through to project closeout and opening. We participated in the initial analysis and costing of hospital siting options, provided milestone estimates during design, site project management services during construction, and change order estimating during closeout. Through our expert services, we successfully helped Providence overcome challenges and negotiate millions in savings.
