As an employer’s agent (EA), we administer the conditions of design-and-build contracts and represent our client’s interests pre- and post-contract. Our primary contribution in this role is to oversee delivery of the project and ensure that all actions described in the project’s appointment documents and contract are successfully addressed and completed.

As a contract administrator, we manage the contract between the client and building contractor and ensure that good administrative practices are followed. Contract administration formally starts when the building contractor is hired to deliver the building project and associated works. The contract administration phase is all-inclusive, encompassing everything from procurement and construction through to rectification and final close-out of the project.
