Project Overview
The Snoqualmie Tribe embarked on an ambitious expansion project in 2021 to transform their casino into a multifaceted entertainment and hospitality destination. This vision extended beyond just gambling, aiming to attract convention attendees and leisure travelers with a luxurious 4-diamond, 210-room hotel – a first for the area. This upscale addition would cater to high-end clientele and significantly increase the Snoqualmie’s lodging capacity.

Further elevating the guest experience, the project included a 9,500 square foot destination spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and two new restaurants. A key driver for the expansion, however, was the need for enhanced meeting space to accommodate tribal gatherings and establish the casino as a premier regional venue. This desire for expanded facilities became the cornerstone of the building program.

To achieve this vision, the Tribe enlisted Bergman Walls & Associates (BWA) as the Architect of Record and initially brought on Cumming Group for cost management during the design phase. Recognizing Cumming Group’s expertise, the Tribe ultimately expanded their role to encompass full project management, cost management, and scheduling.

Current Status & Project Outcome
As of April 2024, the project is progressing steadily and remains on track for completion in 2025. A soft opening with limited services is also planned for the same timeframe. “We are thrilled with the progress on the Snoqualmie Casino Expansion project,” says Scott Hebert, Cumming Group’s project director who’s been overseeing the team since the start of the expansion. “The entire team has been working diligently to ensure a successful project finish and we’re excited to see the Snoqualmie Tribe’s vision and this landmark destination finally come to life.”
