We’d like to welcome Gregg Arnold to the Cumming team. He will be based in our Aliso Viejo, CA office and will lead business development efforts throughout the Orange County region. Gregg brings over 20 years of experience to our team, with success in cultivating relationships and characterizing market trends. We are excited to have him join us!

How long have you been working in the construction industry?

I have been in the A/E/C industry for 20 years. In that time, I have represented OEM, engineering design, architectural design, geo science/geo technology, and general construction firms.

What brought you to Cumming?

My experience with Cumming dates back to the early 2000s, when I met Jerry Piersall. Jerry was professional, upbeat, and knew the business well. I always left our conversations knowing more than before we spoke. Plus, Cumming has had a great reputation in the industry throughout the years, one that resonated with me and my values.

What advice would you give to those in the A/E/C industry?

I have experienced that one must align themselves with firms that have a business development, marketing, and sales culture that is supported from the top down.

What are some of your greatest accomplishments?

On a personal note, it has to be the day I met my fiancé. Using a football analogy, “I definitely out-kicked my coverage”. Professionally, I have been fortunate to be involved in many interesting projects throughout my career. However, the one that stands out for me is the Camp Pendleton Replacement Hospital. I was able to secure the MEP design contract for TMAD Taylor & Gaines. The facility is a specialized hospital treating our “Wounded Warriors” that have experienced amputee events while servicing our nation. Whenever I drive south on I-5 in the Carlsbad area, I re-live the pride I felt in taking part in this outstanding project/facility.
