Three San Diego-based companies made the latest annual list of the nation’s 100 largest construction management firms based on 2014 revenue, published recently by the industry magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR).
The list included Cumming Corp. at No. 27 with $73.4 in total revenue; Kleinfelder at No. 51 with $27.2 million; and Gafcon Inc. at No. 58 with $24.4 million.
Cumming moved up 11 spots from its ranking for 2014, as it grew revenue by 21 percent, and is now among the top five California-based construction management firms.
A Cumming statement said the company’s revenue growth was spurred by recent nationwide project work for clients including Marriott International, Kaiser Permanente, Facebook and Disney, along with several education-related projects.
The largest U.S. firm in the latest ENR ranking was San Francisco-based Bechtel, with $4.46 billion in 2014 revenue.
