Work on the $300 million Tahoe Beach Club is progressing this summer with two of the 13 buildings planned for development under construction in South Lake Tahoe.

Cumming, an international project management and cost-consulting firm, is overseeing the project.

“Facing challenging weather, a limited labor pool, and a fairly remote location, our team worked diligently throughout the critical winter and spring months to make certain the project maintained a reliable completion schedule and stayed within its development budget,” said Frank Fernandez, managing director of Cumming.

Once completed, the beach club will consist of 143 modern luxury condominiums. The residences will range in size from about 1,000 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet, and feature natural gas fireplaces and state-of-the-art interior finishes.

The 55,000-square-foot clubhouse building will be located near a private beach. The clubhouse will feature a bar and grill, yoga and Pilates pavilion, large fitness facility, business center, full-service spa, and concierge services.

Other amenities include beachside fire pits, a 160-foot floating pier, boat valet service, and an indoor-outdoor infinity-edge pool overlooking Lake Tahoe. Construction on the clubhouse is expected to begin this summer.

The Beach Club is the first full-ownership lakefront community to be approved on Lake Tahoe in more than 30 years. It will be surrounded by private meadows to the north, Lake Tahoe to the west, and Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course to the south.
