Our Boca Raton office works in close collaboration with our Miami team offering Cumming Group’s full complement of services across Palm Beach County and beyond. The local team, mainly comprised of the former Zimmer Construction Consultants group that merged with Cumming Group in early 2023, possesses niche expertise in the delivery of lender/project monitoring services to banks and developers. Led locally by Richard Zimmer, and working in close collaboration with our national project monitoring team, the group draws upon Cumming Group’s global resources to support a wide range of sectors including hospitality, residential, healthcare, education, themed entertainment, corporate offices, among many others.

Market Analysis
The construction industry managed to grow by a little over 1% in 2023. This is almost entirely due to inflation rather than an increase in overall volume. When controlling for inflation, spending declined by a little over 1%. In addition to ongoing inflation, the industry is grappling with volatility in material prices and increasing labor costs. Workers who left the industry in 2020 have yet to be replaced, and this has pushed labor costs up across the board.
